Each time I think I am getting somewhere I suddenly realize I am getting nowhere. I remember going to kindergarten school being taught English by the missionary nuns who ran our school. They said, "Someday, you will need to know how to speak English in order to make it. You will go far." Well, I learned to speak English but didn't go very far. Look at what is happening today. English speaking people with their
gangsta rap, hip hop, slang and ebonics are a dime a dozen. They are relegated to the back of the line - if that. But Spanish speaking people? They are all the rage. They are the nation's future. They are the voting block that will ensure the Liberal Democrats remain in power. "Push 2 for English," will be a thing of the past. The system will just give you an "Hola Gringo. Que?"
Spanish speaking peoples in America today give birth to the most babies, never mind that it is mostly out of wedlock ("Out-of-wedlock births among Hispanic women approach 50 percent,"

WND)... But who cares? The more of them the better for the economy. Cheap labor, you know the drill. The government caters to them. In fact the government is willing to keep the borders open so that they can come in in droves. Why not? That's cheap labor and easy money. With their phony social security numbers they can work and they do pay into the system but can't recoup. So the fat politicos have more money to spend by letting these "people in the shadows" keep on coming and working.
The future looks bleak from the bottom of the pile. I see a subculture that is growing like gangbusters in society's petri dish of inequality. We are creating a monster and it won't understand English much less speak it. What will happen to the typical blue collar American? He or she will disappear and fade into obscurity. The country will be run by Hispanic voters and Hispanic peoples. That means that we can look forward to becoming a third world country... much like Mexico maybe?
